What is Holistic Skincare?

    In holistic skincare we dont focus on the skin alone but on the individuals wellness, from their mental state to lifestyle choices. Holistic skincare is a journey that I would love to be a part of. 


What is the difference between a regular facial Vs. a holistic facial?

    The conventional facial leans heavily on using skin treatments such as, chemical peels, micro needling, dermabrasion. These treatments are considered invasive because it changes the biological structure of the skin. In Holistic esthetics, beautiful skin is achieves without invasive techniques that have side effects. Here at Pura Piel studio, we offer advance facial treatments that are suggested to current clients to achieve their goals and or prepare for weddings, events or overall a "red carpet treatment"

Should I schedule a consultation? 

    The 90 min sessions are great for new clients but a consultation is highly suggested, specially if you are ready to commit to keeping your skin healthy throughout our journey. The consultation fee will go towards your products purchased, we will go over the intake form and will create a treatment plan, skincare regimen and we will go over some lifestyle changes, if needed. 


Its my first time getting a facial, which service should I book?

    For all NEW CLIENTS a 90min session w/ LED therapy or a 90min session w/out LED therapy is highly suggested. It includes a skin analysis section where we go over the intake form. Please be sure to fill in the client intake form as detailed as possible to better help you through this journey. 


Do you accept Walk-Ins? 

    No, we work by appointment only. We want to focus on customer service. Providing you with the time you reserved to focus on you, to treat your skin and to make your visit unique and memorable. 


Im interested on getting 2 services done at the same time?

  Sure, you are welcome to book both treatments on the same day and time if you see out schedule opened. You are also welcome to contact by e-mail text or call  571-353-9082 


What modalities do you use & provide in the treatment room?

    Every facial treatment is unique at every visit. High frequency, extractions, dermaplane, superficial peels, facial reflexology, Gua Sha, acupressure, nano- needling (micro channeling) and LED therapy are part of the facial treatment when needed (unless its part of the treatment itself). What skin type do you treat?

    We work with clean plant base products and organic compounds. Soothing yet effective for all skin types and conditions. Pregnancy safe treatments are Skin Awakening, Glowing Ritual, Polished Facial. We also offer teen care facials for 17 and younger, which is great for all genders due to their skin changes with the hormones imbalances. 

What is a 3 month treatment plan offered?

    On your intake form you will have an option to choose if you will like to be quoted a 3 month treatment plan from our initial visit or if you want one in general. This plan can vary from 1 treatment a month or multiple treatments thought the 3 month period. The treatment plan will be given by email with a choice to purchase. This is for people who are truly committed in their skin journey, there will not be any "roll over" treatments or "refunds" if you miss an appointment or if there is a "no show no call" event. All treatments must be scheduled in person due to your skin healing and healthy state. 

Do you service men?

    YESS! men also need skin care, feel free to book an appointment.  * Please shave 2-3 days prior or after getting any facial treatment *


Will a facial cause my skin to flare?

    Purging is possible 2-3 days after your visit. The stimulation, exfoliation and also your lifestyle can cause breakouts. 

Women: plan your facial 2-3 before your menstrual cycle or 2-3 days after.

Men: Please shave 2-3 days prior or after getting any facial treatment.


How do I get ready for a holistic facial?

    - NEW CLIENTS, complete INTAKE FORM (its linked in your booking confirmation email)

    - Stop using any RETIN-A, retinoids prescribed or over the counter, acidic or granular exfoliants 2-3 DAYS before your visit.     

    - Stay hydrated before and after your treatment, please reschedule if you are experience a hangover. 

    - Come with comfy clothes and little to no jewelry (we love to include the neck and chest area)

    - Let your hair loose for a cranial massage.

    - If you can, come make up free. 

    - Come ready to let loose & relax your way into healthy glowing skin! 


What to do right after a facial? 


    - Plan a low level day, preferably indoors.

    - Try your best to eat healthy the next couples days (2-3 days) leafy greens, juicing.

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so online or notify us during the week (Monday- Sunday) and at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment by email ( or text us (571-353-9082).

  • All cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment and all no-shows without notification will automatically incur a 100% session rate fee or session will be deducted from the package .

  • In case of an accident , sickness or  any other last minute emergency on the day of an appointment . We will waive your fee one time per quarter with notification. However, it will be a full charge if you fail to let us know.

  • If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session, however, we will do our best to satisfy the scheduled time.

  • If you are running late , please give us a text or a call . We will hold your session for up to 15 minutes without notification . Your therapist will then cancel your session . You will be responsible to pay for the full session price .
